I am continually prompted of the need in my every day to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. So when reading through Hebrews chapter 12:1-29 I felt a connection so decided to write it out for myself in 'version of Kim' :)
'As I have my Mum & Dad watching me from heaven, I need to be focused and directional on running my race for God to make my parents proud and realising my purpose God set me here to do for Him as He prompted me as a child at 10yrs old at camp in Gerringong, NSW. Knowing all the ups and downs I have had through life, growing, maturing in Him to be equipped for the cause ahead… that I may ‘stand tall’ (Ephesians) for Him in all I do, encouraging and lifting up others along the way.
I know my journey is not the same as others have had to face but my God has stood with me through it all so I may celebrate with others in His house and acknowledge His goodness, forgiveness and push forward to bring all those, who are grounded in Christ through to His glorious, triumphant celebration He has in store at the Marriage supper planned and prepared for us so I am so very thankful to God for His love and goodness to me in this season that I am able to continue serving Him.'
